14 WEEK TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGE
SPONSORED BY: Jason’s Functional Training Studio
We will be having our very 2nd Annual Body Transformation Award division at the Saint John Fall Classic
This Nov, 14th, 2020.
Anyone can register, including all competitors competing at the upcoming show or random “off the street” individuals are also eligible to register. There will be 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th placings awards.
• Registration is open on Aug. 8th, 2020 for all classes
• The cost is $105 per entry.
• You have 14 weeks to prepare for the after pictures.
• Open to men and women.
• The successful winner must make the biggest transformation, build the most proportioned
Physique and have the best shape of all the contestants regardless of your weight or
Height.
WHY PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST?
Not only will you get in amazing shape, but you will also have pictures of yourself forever that
show off your hard work. As well, the promoters and sponsors of this event will be presenting
trophies to the Top 3. The winners will have Social Media exposure of all your accomplishments.
AWARD SUBMISSION - RULES & REGULATIONS
The judges will be chosen by the promoters from various Provinces and judged 1 week in
advance prior to the event. They will evaluate final entries based on the following factors;
weight loss, muscle gain, shape & symmetry and presentation. The judges will need to see these
changes in the pictures so it’s important that both before and after pictures are in focus and taken
at appropriate angles and with good lighting. Take the time to use a camera with a timer or have
someone with a steady hand take the pictures. No selfies please!
Clothing for contest pictures: a two piece bikini for the ladies or tank tini crop top and tight fitting
shorts or posing trunks/board shorts for the men. Just remember we’re trying to judge overall
change, if you hide your body in these pictures it might work against you and make it difficult
for the judges to see how you’re your body has changed.
PHOTO REQUIREMENTS (HIGH RESOLUTION – HIGH QUALITY):
There are 4 required pictures required for registration and must be taken no later than August 8th, 2020
We highly recommend that you get your photos submitted as soon as possible – the earlier you
send the photos, the better the chances of the best body weight loss transformation.
After your 14 week journey to a new you, a second set of 4 required pictures must be submitted
no later than November 7th 2020.
1) Front - Facing camera with arms at your side
2) Back – Facing away from the camera, with your arms at your side
3) Side – 90 degrees to the camera with your arms at your side
4) Front (Newspaper) shot – Facing camera with one arm at your side and other arm holding a
current newspaper visibly showing the date. This should be a current issue of the national or
local newspaper in order to validate the day you took the picture. You need to take a picture in
this same group of pictures with the current day’s newspaper in your hand and the front page
visible.
The pictures need to be full body head to toe. It is very important that for your front, side, and
back poses your arms are down at your sides but not covering your waist and that they are full
body head to toe pictures. Do not crop out your face or your feet.

As well, the following will also be required when submitting your after photos and will be
included in the link provided – 1 week before the deadline:
1-End of contest Essay – 500 (max) Word Essay
must be submitted via the link when you send in your photos.
2-Cover Model Photos/Random Photos/iPhone Videos (Deadline November 7th, 2020): Kindly
submit (4) cover pictures (photo shoot preferred), (2-4) random photos and (1-2) videos. These
will be used for our video montage presented on stage to our audience at the Evening Finals.

No later than November, 7th, 2020
PHOTO ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS AND INFORMATION
• The photos must be authentic, not altered, filtered or modified. If any photo tampering is
evident Participant will be immediately disqualified.
• The date on the paper must match the day the contestant begins their Challenge.
• The same type of clothing is recommended to be worn in all photos.
• High-quality photos (300 dpi) are recommended to show the best detailed results.
• Unusually revealing or provocative photos will be deemed invalid.
• The purpose of the photos is to demonstrate a clear body transformation that has been
achieved through hard work, effort and determination in completing a comprehensive
nutrition and exercise regimen.
• The file format for uploaded photos is JPG or PNG.
• Participants should take the photos using a white or light-colored solid backdrop for
optimal visibility. Since the photo with the newspaper is for verification of the date of the
photo, the date or headline must be visible in the photo must be used.
LEARN HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE BEST PHOTO’S EVER:
Be proud and make your best presentation ever! Professional photographers do an amazing job
in capturing your hard work and success. Give it your best effort and have pictures that you will
cherish for the rest of your life. It’s a record and a reminder for you on what you have
accomplished.
ADDITIONAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
All entries become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.
Promoters and its advertising and promotion agencies assume no responsibility for lost, stolen,
delayed, damaged, illegible, incomplete, postage-due, garbled or misdirected entries or entries
that have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy the Contest Rules
or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line
systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any entry to be
received or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof
including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or
resulting from playing or downloading any material in the contest.
Promoters reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend this Contest
should external circumstances arise which are beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters.
The Promoters are not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this
Contest.
Promoters will collect your personal information for the purposes of registration, program
evaluation and to keep you informed about contest. Promoters will only share personal data
about entrants with the judges of the contest.
By entering this Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Promoters and Judges,
as well as, their respective employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, successors,
assigns, advertising and promotional agencies from any liability for any loss or damage of any
kind to the entrant or any other person in connection with this Contest or participation in any
Contest related activities i.e. the use or misuse of a prize or any portion of a prize including
personal injury, death or property damage.
This Contest will run in accordance with these Contest Rules, subject to amendment by the
Promoters. The Promoters reserve the right to cancel, amend, modify or terminate this Contest or
the Rules at any time in its sole discretion and without notice.
Entrants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the
rules if they participate in the Contest.
JUDGING PROCESS
• The promoters have chosen 6-8 judges from all over Canada and they will be sent the complete judging package on Nov, 7th, 2020. After I’ve prepared the submission
to our judges, it will consist of; the Name of the Contestant, their stats, their essay and
their before and after photos. They will also receive a judging sheet and they will place
you in whatever order they choose. Each judge is unique and has their own opinion /
preference on who will become the winner of the 2020 JFTS Total Body Transformation Challenge.
A final roll-up of judges scores will be calculated by the
promoters and placings will be determined.
STAGE PROCEDURES FOR THE OPEN TRANSFORMATION CLASS
• The results will be announced at the show after intermission.
• Before the awards are given out, this process will be followed by all contestants;
All contestants will be called out on stage and introduced individually by Video
Montage and will be lined up on either side – even numbered on each side of the
two slanted lines on stage.
All contestants are encouraged to wear on stage in the introduction of the class; a
competition two piece suit or a two piece regular swim suit (for the ladies) and
competition board shorts or regular board shorts (for the men). If you do not feel
comfortable in a swimsuit, a strapless cocktail dress will be fine for the ladies.
Sponsors will be called on stage to present Trophies, Medals and Awards.
Top 3 winners will be called out and will proceed to Front Center Stage. Placings
will then be announced – 3rd, 2nd and JFTS TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGE Winner.
The rest of the class will exit the stage and the TOP 3 will remain for photos.

On April 24 2019 I woke up and told my husband I have to change something or accept this miserable life I have been living sitting in a
chair most days falling asleep and still in pain and very much over weight. I called
Jason that morning at JFTS. I became very nervous because I just committed to something I wasn’t sure my body was up for. That same afternoon my doctor told me I was a DIABETIC It scared the daylights out of me but thank goodness earlier in the day I had already signed up for the 8 week challenge at JFTS that started May 01, 2019. The diabetes scare was the extra kick I needed to make the change..I lost 21lbs and several inches and I became stronger during the 8 week challenge. When I heard about the transformation challenge I thought that is exactly what I need to keep me focused on the journey of lifestyle change. I haven’t felt this good since my high school years and it’s because of my training and support at JFTS. I want to do the body transformation challenge to keep me focused on better health, eating clean and to hopefully be rocking a healthy strong body with full body movements into my future years. And oh yeah to say at 51 I changed my world.
Well after doing the 16 week JFTS TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGE I am in a much better place in this world.
When I told Jason Crouse I was thinking of doing the transformation his exact words to me were. “Denise the only person you have to beat is the person looking back at you in the mirror “ I kinda chuckled to myself and thought I just see everyone else in the mirror when I am training and they are who I have to beat. Well I soon realized everyone else is doing there own thing, and I am going to have to stop staring through who was really staring back at me. I realize now I was staring past that

person because I did not like what I seeing looking back at me. A very overweight unhealthy and unhappy person. So I thought to myself put you big girl pants on dig your heels in and beat that person looking back. So that is what I did, with the help of JFTS and my new JFTS family always cheering me on (and of course my dear husband for always being there and putting up with my some days not so good moods ) I trained 6 days a week tried to eat as clean as possible. With a few slip up here and there I would get right back on it the next day. With that all being said I feel in my mind I have one the challenge because I beat that miserable person that was staring back at me. I now see a confident happy and much healthier person looking back at me that I am now proud to look at and say that is me.
I am very thankful Jason Crouse followed his dreams and shares them with Saint Johners in two locations. Without his dreams Of helping people stay healthy and mobile and his awesome team I wouldn’t have met mine, to be fit and healthy in my golden years.

When I decided to sign up for the JFTS Transformation Challenge I would have never believed it if someone told me what changes would take place at the end of 16 weeks! Yes there are the visible changes in my body , but the changes that aren’t visible to the eye are the most valuable to me! You see , the Kim before this challenge would never put herself first, would never wear a bathing suit let alone step on a stage with one on!! I always cared what others thought and would make choices based on other people’s opinions! I can honestly say I am living my best life and learning to fall in love with who I really am! I’m so excited about where I am headed and wondering what’s next for me. I have so much ambition to set new goals ! This journey has only lead me to find new passions that were just waiting for me to find the courage to live them! I am more spontaneous, take risks, and stepping out of my comfort zone! I am doing the things that make KIM happy!!! I don’t care what others think and I’m learning to not make room for toxicity and negativity in my life, only positive and people that want to build me up and help me reach my goals! I received so much growth, so much knowledge, so much confidence, so much hope and excitement for my future .....the list goes on and on. Right now I am living my best life and nothing will stop me! The transformation challenge has made me feel a confidence I never had before. I feel happier, healthier, more positive and I am not always worried about what I look like. I used to change so many times in the morning trying clothes on until I felt comfortable. Now I’m happy with all my outfits feeling confident. My lifestyle has changed for the better. I’m not as food crazy as I was before and I’m happy with the healthy food choices I am making. Having the courage to get up on stage was huge. I never thought in a million years I would do something like this. It has been so fun! This experience has me setting new goals for myself and I am so excited to accomplish them.
Overall I have lost 21 pounds and I couldn’t be more proud of myself! This transformation has helped me both physically and mentally. Jason & Annette at JFTS are so inspirational and made this such a great journey.

In July 2019 I entered a Transformation Challenge Sponsored by JFTS(Jason Crouse) Gym it was a 16 week transformation that came to a conclusion last night at the Saint John Fall Classic at the Trade and Convention Center. Well I cannot express the Gratitude I feel for Jason Crouse and Annette Ellis the time and attention you gave to us through this transformation the motivation and yes attention to the details to prepare us to walk out on that stage the very best versions of ourselves on that night, so we felt like we belong on the stage go far above and beyond. To the girls that shared this journey with me and stepped way outside our comfort zones to do that, that was also part of the transformation, a bigger part then most will realize. As we are not the people we were when we entered this challenge. I know for myself that all the hours of practising the poses that was for Jason and Annette, I wanted that done to the best of my ability with my lack of experience with this venue, but for me I wanted to bring the best version of who I am today thanks to this journey with you, to make you proud because knowing you and how you love to change peoples lives for the better well Jason and Annette you have most certainly done that for not just one but many! You took shy, bring no attention to ourselves people and made them feel like superstars and if that's not a transformation that surpasses just the physical part of this journey well then I don't know what is. To all the members at the gym I cannot thank you enough for all the support and encouragement you gave and having you in the audience last night cheering us on made getting up there alot easier. To my family and friends who have been a great support system I could not have done this without you and one more person I cannot forget to mention Scott Duncan, my trainer I hope you were proud last night because I think at the transformation level we rocked it! since you know better then most just how far I have come from the first training session. and I will see you Monday morning as I continue to show up and change even more.

A year and a half ago, I felt tired, had no energy, was beyond uncomfortable, in and out of my clothes, and embarrassed because I had allowed my weight to rise to 165 lbs. I did not feel myself. I knew I needed to take the steps required to begin to feel myself again. There have been many stages to this process in the last year and a half, however, the biggest was to take control of my body, my health and my weight. I am not a big box gym type of girl at all and find them intimidating, so when I was referred to JFTS, I messaged Jason right away and set up a time to meet with him. I immediately knew JFTS was the right fit for me and becoming a member that day was the best decisions I could have ever made for myself!! JFTS and its members quickly became like a family and a great support in helping me reach my goals!!
I have lost a total of 54 lbs. and I feel so much better, not only on the outside but also on the inside!! I sleep better, have more energy, am stronger and fitter than when I was in my 20’s and have so much more confidence in myself for reaching my goals!! Thank you so much to Jason, Annette and all of the JFTS staff for simply being you and making JFTS such a welcoming, personal, healthy, professional and motivating place to be! Forever grateful

In July 2019 I had reached my heaviest weight ever. I had no energy, no purpose and was sick all the time. On impulse I joined the JFTS 16 Week Body Transformation Challenge. Little did I know, it would be one of the best decisions ever. I knew I needed to be accountable to something, I knew I needed guidance and support. I got all of that and so much more. My transformation goes so much further than skin deep. I have found a sense of peace within and am generally a better, happier person. I have a confidence I haven’t felt in years. I lost 33lbs during the challenge!
The connections and friendships made along the way were such a beautiful and unexpected gift. The other challengers were amazing. Any time I started to doubt myself, they were there to talk some sense into me. We had so many laughs along the way and developed true & special bonds. We became each other’s biggest cheerleaders. It was so heartwarming to see women lifting each other up.
The support from Annette and Jason was priceless. They coached, nurtured, encouraged every step of the way. They believed in me long before I could believe in myself-for that I am eternally grateful. This truly was an amazing, life changing experience.

Hi, my name is Wendy Stevens, age 47, mother of 3 (ages 19, 20, 22)
For me, it’s wasn’t about achieving a perfect body; it’s not a diet, but, a new lifestyle, I started a year ago and my weight was 144lb and I knew I needed to join a gym and get back in shape after seeing photos of myself. As of today, I am at 119lb - I lost 25lbs . I wanted to feel good in my skin. , take care of myself, smile more and be more confident. My journey has been about feeling strong, happy and healthy and getting out of my comfort zone! JFTS has been my Therapy after going through a lot of life changes (divorce and losing my parents & family members) I am choosing to stay positive and live each day to the fullest.
About me: I have been a runner for years, I have done ½ marathons and a lot of 10k’s but NEVER touched weights as I was insecure and intimidated until I joined JFTS and started doing metabolic classes, high energy classes, combined strength and cardiovascular training 3 mornings a week. When I started JFTS I couldn’t even do 3 push up and after a few months of training and being pushed by Jason, I could do 25 + and l learned the proper way how to lift weights and strengthen my Core with “Annette’s AB Classes” Just knowing I have an amazing support system at JFTS every step of the way, speaks volumes, they are like family and have helped me become a better version of myself physically and mentally. Now this 16 week challenge and transformation has lead me out of my comfort zone to where I am today on stage and I am living my best life.

If you would have told me I would ever do something like the transformation challenge I would have told you is that you were crazy.
I joined JFTS in November of 2018. I loved it right away.
I started the The challenge in July of 2019. It was life altering for me. I wanted to challenge my thoughts on body image. I wanted to do something that would challenge me and this transformation was one of the biggest challenges in my life.
I learned to be more accepting of myself and when I was down I only stayed down for one day. I felt mentally and physically better. I have more energy. I met some pretty amazing people.
I had a lot of support from my family, friends, the other transformation participants, and Jason, Annette, and Nas.
I could have not done this without any of you.
Would I do it again? In a heart beat♥️

The best thing I’ve ever done for myself was join JFTS. I needed to put myself first and really focus on getting back into shape and living a healthier life, because I hated what I seen in the mirror .
I enjoy everything they have to offer, with all the one on one training, group training , and support anytime of day ( Jason even gives you his cell number ) he answers every question ( even as silly as mine may have been) I love it there. And when i heard they were doing a body transformation challenge, I knew that was the extra kick in the butt I needed! They gave me all the right tools I needed to really transform my mind and body, they were there for everything! The group workouts, the motivation, the support, and the relationships you make with the other challengers are next to non. This challenge really did change my life for the better. I am the most happiest I’ve ever been, I am now putting my health my myself first , and it is all because of JFTS and his wonderful team!
JFTS is truly more than just a gym. They are family, and I am blessed to be apart of it.
