Nasiyr (Nas) is an active fitness enthusiast who loves to work with a diverse clientele seeking an improved quality of life. His introduction to athletics began at a young age, as a multi-sport athlete from youth, and continued through university and beyond as a semi-professional basketball player. He has experienced rigorous sports-specific training as well as military-style fitness training in the U.S. Navy.
Though his history in athletics is extensive, Nasiyr credits his passion for the fitness lifestyle to a period in life where sports didn’t remain a part of his daily schedule and participation was no longer required, but a choice. The result was a substantial weight gain he would love to tell you about. He decided then it was time for a change and re-focused, re-engaged, and re-dedicated himself to a better and healthier lifestyle. He became a sponge for information and pushed himself back into the best personal physical shape possible which opened the door for opportunities in acting and both runway and fitness modeling. However, that wasn’t enough for Nasiyr, as he wanted everyone to be able to experience the all-around benefits his new-found fitness lifestyle had provided him. He wanted to help more people through knowledge so in 2015 received his NASM certification in personal training. Nasiyr is also, one of the official strength and conditioning coaches for the Saint John Riptides professional basketball team.
Nasiyr believes the benefits of fitness are far more than just physical, but also provide principles for so many other different aspects of life. He is excited to assist others with their fitness journey, motivating them through the lows and celebrating on the highs.

Anything is possible if you put your mind to it. At the age of 45, she decided to try her first fitness competition. In the past two years, she has competed in several bodybuilding shows.
