Jason is the Owner and Founder of Jason's Functional Training Studio and JFTS Strength & Conditioning LTD both are located in Saint John, NB. He has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years and has obtained several certifications including PFC, PFT, RTL, NWS, ICL, a diploma in fitness & nutrition, and is a level 2 FMS Mobility expert which is the highest level. Jason is also an author and a motivational speaker.
Jason has mentored some of the best personal trainers in the world and his studio is currently the official strength and conditioning facility for the Saint John Riptides and Jason is also their strength & conditioning coach as well .
Jason continues to displayed his passion and drive in the fitness industry where he won the 2017 Atlantic Canadian Middleweight Bodybuilding Championship Title which was held in Moncton, NB .
Jason is also the 2018 Men's Masters Bodybuilding champion as well where he brought home a gold medal At the Flex Lewis Canadian classic Championship!

Aimee and I’m a stay at home mom/fitness instructor. In my free time I enjoy working out, being outside with my family, and reading.
Growing up I always danced and played basketball but never ate healthy. After high school I decided to join the gym but didn’t really know what I was doing. It wasn’t until I started dating my husband that I really took an interest in strength training. This is when I truly started to understand the many benefits that came with eating healthy and having a proper workout routine.
In March of 2016 I had my first daughter and a few months later I joined Caroline MacKay’s Strollerfit classes. Her passion and upbeat personality made me enjoy fitness even more.
In 2018 after my second daughter was born I decided I wanted to pursue a career in fitness. With the help of Caroline and Jason Crouse I’ve been able to do so. She introduced me to Jason and JFTS in the Fall of 2019. Jason hired me to teach at the studio and between he and Caroline I’ve learned so much more about being a fitness instructor, personal trainer, and myself. I’m now doing things I never dreamed I could all thanks to the guidance and mentorship from them both.
Becoming a fitness instructor/personal trainer has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I enjoy being able to help people reach their fitness goals and become the best versions of themselves they can be.
Heather passion for a healthy active lifestyle led her to the beginning of her Personal Training career in 2005. As an avid volleyball player and weight lifter Heather is not a stranger to training and understands what her clients actually “feel” during their own sessions.
She has actively been coaching a wide variety of clients and helping them reach their personal health and wellness goals.
As a life-long student Heather found that many clients were suffering from chronic pain. She began her studies in the realm of Trigger Point Therapy and has become certified in the William Huhn Method™ obtaining Level 2 and currently working towards her teaching level. It is through her studies of this therapy that has given her a better understanding of dysfunction in the human body and how best to treat pain so clients can remain active for life.
Over the last 15 years Heather has continued her education developing her skills as a trainer to best assist her clients to achieve an active yet balanced lifestyle.

Jessica's passion for fitness started 5 years ago when she was a personal training client of our very own Jason Crouse .Jessica soon learned that there was so much more to fitness than just learning how to perform exercises and she was very eager to learn more.
jessica decided to pursue her carreer in her new found passion and became a certified personal trainer in 2018.
Jessica continues to stay updated on all the latest exercise techniques to serve her clients better and she looks forward to helping you all achieve your fitness goals.
Emily began her journey with health and fitness at a very young age. Emily was introduced to hockey as a child and later moved into competitive hockey. As a result, she lead her high school hockey team as assistant captain, then moving onto also lead the Midget AAA Fundy Nationals.
Through the many experiences on and off the ice, Emily learned the importance of fitness for not only herself but grew another passion of teaching and motivating others with health and fitness. Recently, Emily completed her personal training certification through Canfitpro. She is excited to continue on this journey of motivating others to achieve their own goals in the gym.learn.It more.I
Rylan is a young, ambitious, up and coming leader in the fitness industry. He is currently studying Kinesiology at Acadia university with the goal of becoming a strength and conditioning coach. Rylan’s passion for fitness and health stems from his background of years of playing numerous sports with his biggest sports career highlight coming from playing 3 seasons with the local Saint John Midget AAA Vitos. He has since shift his focus for fitness to the bodybuilding stage and giving back by helping others reach their best versions of themselves as a personal trainer.

Kim works full time at Bobby’s Hospice which fulfils her other passion/purpose of caring for and helping others in need. Her goal at JFTS is to inspire and motivate others about the benefits of exercising and living a healthy lifestyle. She is here to provide encouragement, confidence, strength and motivation to help you achieve your fitness goals !!

Michelle has always enjoyed fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. She was a competitive dancer in her youth, and continued to dance well into adulthood.
Michelle graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 2000 with her bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She has continued to provide care and education to families and individuals in our community.
Michelle spent 7 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, where she learned respect and discipline. She has used these tools in all aspects of life, including her own fitness journey. In 2015 she began to focus on changing her eating habits as well as her exercise routine. She went on to train and compete in the 2016 Saint John Fall Classic. Her interest in strength training has continued to grow. Becoming a fitness instructor/personal trainer has been a life long goal.
Michelle is very excited to continue her own personal journey and help motivate others to reach their own personal health and fitness goals.
Owen is a first year student pursuing a Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick. His long term goal is to become a physiotherapist. He has been involved in a variety of sports such as baseball, hockey and volleyball. As well, he has competed locally and nationally for baseball as a member of team New Brunswick. His passion for sports and fitness is what has inspired him to help others achieve their goals.
Morgan’s passion for living a healthy and active lifestyle started at a very young age. She was a competitive for 13 years, competing throughout Canada. She also coached gymnastics for many years.
Morgan went on to graduate from Mount Saint Vincent university with a bachelor’s of science in applied human nutrition. After taking courses in sports nutrition she found that was where her passion lied. Being able to help others overcome health and fitness road block and maintaining active lifestyles was why she became a personal trainer. She started as a personal trainer in 2018 and has loved every moment. Morgan also works in clinical Nutrition at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Being able to incorporate both passions while helping others achieve their health and fitness goals is very rewarding and why she loves personal training.
